Excursion to Luxor + Valley of the Kings and Queens

At the indicated time, we will pick you up at your hotel in Hurghada and head south. After a four-hour road trip we will arrive in Luxor, where the Karnak temple awaits us. This colossal work, whose construction lasted more than 2000 years, is dedicated to the God of the Sun, Amun-Ra. Did you know that it is the largest temple in Ancient Egypt? We will look at the hieroglyphics on its columns, we will tour the hypostyle hall and we will review the beliefs of the Egyptian civilization. After visiting this important monument, we will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch. Having regained our strength, we will get back into the vehicle to visit the funerary temple of Hatshepsut. Do you want to know the story of this queen-pharaoh ahead of her time? We will reveal all its secrets to you. Next, we will go to admire the famous Colossi of Memnon, two imposing sculptures that represent Pharaoh Amenhotep III. They will leave you speechless! We will continue the excursion visiting the Valley of the Queens. The princesses and wives of the pharaohs are buried in this ancient necropolis. We will see three of their tombs to admire the exquisite interior decoration while we tell you why the ancient Egyptians gave so much importance to funerary rituals. Afterwards, we will head to the famous Valley of the Kings, where Thutmose III, Ramses VI, Ramesses IX, Siptah, Ramesses IV and other notable pharaohs are buried. In this valley, Howard Carter also discovered the famous tomb of Tutankhamun. Depending on availability or season, we will visit three tombs in total from all those in the Valley of the Kings. Finally, we will conclude the excursion by returning to your hotel in Hurghada, where arrival is scheduled 13 hours after pickup. Hotel pickup The tour includes pickup from all hotels in Hurghada.
