Overview
The temples of Karnak and Hatshepsut, the majestic Abu Simbel, the Aswan Dam, the pyramids of Giza... In this 8-day tour of Egypt in full from Luxor, we will see the main wonders of the country of the pharaohs.
Itinerary
We will begin this unforgettable trip by picking you up at Luxor airport upon arrival. There, we will give you the visa and help you pass immigration controls before taking you to the cruise. If you were already in the city, we will pick you up at your hotel to take you to the ship, where you can settle into your cabin and have dinner.
After breakfast on the cruise, we will disembark to discover Luxor, ancient Thebes. On this day we will visit two of the most spectacular temples in Egypt, the Temple of Luxor, a postcard image that will be difficult to forget, and the Temple of Karnak, the great sanctuary dedicated to Amun.
After lunch on the cruise, we will head to the gigantic necropolis of the Valley of the Kings, where we will enter three of their tombs. We will also visit the Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. In addition, we will visit a craft store to learn about the skill of the locals making pieces of stone, alabaster and sculptures that will leave you impressed.
Upon returning to the ship, we will begin sailing towards Edfu, where we will dock for dinner and spend the night. At sunset, you will enjoy the passage of the Esna lock.
After breakfast on the cruise, we will get off the ship, take a horse-drawn carriage ride and visit the temple of Edfu, dedicated to the god Horus. This sanctuary located on the west bank of the Nile was built during the Ptolemaic period. There we will discover that it is one of the best preserved temples in Egypt!
The cruise will continue sailing to Kom Ombo, where we will visit its incredible temple, dedicated to the gods Sobek and Hareoris. Did you know that it is considered one of the most beautiful in the country? It's completely symmetrical! It has two entrances, two hypostyle rooms and two sanctuaries.
To end the day, we will continue sailing to Aswan, where we will dock and spend the night on board.
Important: transfers in Edfu will be made by buggy. If you want to do them by other means of transport, such as car or bus, you will have to notify the guide a day in advance.
The day begins with a bus excursion to the Abu Simbel temples, the most famous in all of Egypt. There you will be impressed by this complex declared a World Heritage Site. Did you know that they were excavated in the mountain during the reign of Pharaoh Ramses II? Later, they were saved from the waters of the Nile and moved to where they are today.
After visiting both the temples of Ramses and Nefertari, on the way back to Aswan, we will see the impressive Aswan Dam, built to end flooding due to the sudden increase in the flow of the Nile.
We will end the day back on the boat.
After breakfast, we will get off the cruise to visit one of the most beautiful temples in Egypt, the Temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis. Did you know that it is known as the Jewel of the Nile? Afterwards, we will visit a perfumery to learn all the secrets of Egyptian fragrances.
Next, we'll take a ride on a felucca, the traditional Egyptian boat, to see how the desert dunes merge with the waters of the Nile.
In the afternoon, we will say goodbye to the cruise and take you to Aswan airport to take a flight to Cairo. Once at the Cairo airport, we will take you to the hotel in the city so you can rest. See you tomorrow!
After breakfast, we will visit the famous pyramids of Giza and the Great Sphinx. Furthermore, if you want, you will have the opportunity to enter the pyramid of Cheops. Afterwards, we will visit a papyrus school to learn how this important Egyptian product is made.
Have you whetted your appetite? Lunchtime! At noon, we will have a traditional menu and then we will head to Memphis, the first capital of Egypt, where we will see Saqqara and its necropolis, and the famous statue of Ramses II.
After resting at the hotel, in the afternoon we will meet again to explore Old Cairo, visit the Khan el Kalili market and see the famous Mirror Cafe. We will close the day having a typical dinner.
We will take advantage of the penultimate day of our trip through Egypt to visit the most emblematic places in Cairo. We will tour the Citadel of Saladin, we will enter the Alabaster Mosque, we will walk through the Coptic Quarter, we will eat and you will be amazed by the masterpieces of the Great Egyptian Museum.
In the evening, we will go out to dinner at a local restaurant.
After breakfast, we will take you to Cairo airport, where you will take the international flight back. We will adapt the departure time from Cairo according to the flight time you have. You can also take you to any other place in Cairo or Giza to finish this 8-day tour.

Is there anything that is not included?
In the Valley of the Kings, if you want to visit Tutankhamun's Tomb you will have to pay an extra cost of 16 euros. Also, in case you want to access the Cheops pyramid, its cost is about 26 euros.
What should we take into account before booking?
The visit to Edfu is done by horse-drawn carriage. If you want to do it by another means of transport, you will have to notify the guide the day before and pay 15 euros per person.
What clothing is recommended to bring to the circuit?
For excursions, it is recommended to wear light, light-colored clothing. At night, it is advisable to bring something warm in case it gets cold. Additionally, we recommend that you bring a swimsuit.
