Do you want to sail the sacred river of the pharaohs? On this felucca ride through Aswan we will sail along the Nile aboard a typical Egyptian sailing boat. It will be an unforgettable experience!
Itinerary
We'll meet at the felucca pier in Aswan Port and from there we'll embark on a peaceful 40-minute felucca ride along the Nile. Are you ready to sail the sacred river of Egypt?
Just like the ancient pharaohs did, we will sail aboard a traditional sailing boat. First, we will skirt the coast of Elephantine Island. From the water, we will contemplate the Temple of Khnum and other important vestiges of Antiquity that are still preserved on this island.
Next, we will continue sailing along the Nile until we reach the other bank of the river. While we skirt this riverbank, we will observe notable places such as the Aga Khan Mausoleum or the Aswan Botanical Garden from the felucca.
We will also pass in front of the so-called Tombs of the Nobles, where the remains of some high-ranking officials belonging to Pharaonic Egypt rest.
Finally, we will conclude this journey by returning to the departure dock.
