Complete Luxor Tour

At the indicated time, we will pick you up at your hotel or boat in Luxor and begin the full tour of one of the main Egyptian destinations on the banks of the Nile River. First of all, we will visit the temple of Luxor, which occupied a privileged place in ancient Thebes. In this outstanding archaeological enclave, declared a World Heritage Site, we will see its main corners. Among them, the avenue of the sphinxes, the forest of colonnades and the great sculptures of Egyptian pharaohs such as Ramses II stand out. The next stop will be at Karnak, the largest temple in Ancient Egypt. In this large monumental complex, which housed the spectacular sanctuary of Amun, we will look at the details inscribed on the obelisks of Thutmose I and Hatshepsut. We will also enter the hypostyle room, one of the most sacred places. After visiting the temple of Karnak, we will cross to the other bank of the Nile River. There the Valley of the Kings awaits us, which guards the tombs of pharaohs such as Tutankhamun or Ramses II. We will discover what the funerary rites were like at that time and, in addition, we will visit the Valley of the Queens to see the burial places of the princesses and wives of the pharaohs of the New Kingdom. We will continue the tour at the temple of Hatshepsut, known as “the sublime of the sublime.” It is a grandiose monument dedicated to the only woman who ruled Egypt during the 18th dynasty: the period of greatest splendor of the pharaonic civilization. Finally, we will go to the Colossi of Memnon to contemplate these two enormous statues that represent Pharaoh Amenhotep III. Finally, after 7.5 hours of travel we will return to your hotel or boat in Luxor. Pickup This activity only includes pick-up and return transfer to Luxor hotels and boats located on the eastern bank (right bank) of the Nile River. On the return we will drop you off at the same location as the pick-up. If your hotel or boat in Luxor is on the western bank (left bank) of the Nile River, we will arrange a meeting point for you on the eastern bank.
